We will examine the risk of heart failure (HF) among patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) and explore evidence-based risk reduction strategies that you can incorporate into your practice. We will discuss the results of the DECLARE trial, the largest cardiovascular (CV) outcomes trial to study hospitalization for HF risk reduction in patients with T2D and CV disease or multiple CV risk factors.
